Maxine and Jade are both very adventurous (they got engaged at the Swiss Alps, go Jade!!), and they wanted an adventurous session without having to leave the state. After much deliberating, we were able to decide on Red Rock Canyon, here in California.
For weeks we mused over dresses, colors, and details. Moe and I are always over-prepared, so we made sure we did the hike first before their Session.
On the day of shoot, we packed our kiddos in the car and drove out to the Canyon. Our youngest was only a few weeks old at the time, so it was understandable that we traveled with her and Max & Jade were such a joy to spend the day with.
The hike itself took about 2 and a half hours. Once we arrived, we found a secluded spot for them to change, and we set to work. Maxine decided on a white dress from Lulu's and seriously--it was a freakin' dream. I mean, wow! You would have never guessed that she just hiked for close to 3 hours because her hair and makeup were absolutely amazing!
